Responsible materials

At DENIM STUDIO, we use 90% natural materials, including 10% from low-environmental-impact materials such as linen, modal, and lyocell. Cotton is our primary material, and all our suppliers are BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) certified. We select our materials based on their quality in appearance and feel, their durability, their impact on the final price, and, of course, their environmental footprint.

Our materials are primarily sourced from Europe. Our fabrics come from France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Turkey. We do not produce anything in Asia and do not purchase any raw materials from there.

For over 15 years, the proportion of synthetic materials such as polyester or polyamide has not exceeded 10% in our products. While it is extremely difficult to completely eliminate the use of these fibers, especially elastane which allows for stretch fabrics, we have been reducing their proportion for several years and replacing them with other, more environmentally friendly artificial fibers, such as viscose or recycled polyester. In our designs, polyester does not exceed 5%, and we take great care to select only the highest quality.
